Way back in 2008 when I was looking around for some musicians whom I needed to hire for some recording work, I realized there was no central online resource in Ireland where I could look. So I decided to go ahead and build it myself, and thus Hooley came into being. Since then the site/app has gone from strength to strength, and now there is in the region of 1000 musicians/bands listed, from every imaginable category. For a number of years it has been the best resource in Ireland for anybody wishing to hire Irish musical talent. We have continued to enhance its features, making the signing-up process as seamless as possible, and making it as easy as possible for new and seasoned musicians to publish and showcase their musical performances and compositions.
