The Kooky Ukes

Are you looking for a unique entertainment experience for your reception that will appeal to guests of all ages? Something not seen before, an alternative to the typical and a brilliantly entertaining performance on the day? Meet The Kooky Ukes, Ireland’s hippest and happiest all-ukulele, all-singing band! The Kooky Ukes play the quirkiest, coolest collection of classics and chart hits, all performed on ukuleles. Every genre is turned upside-down and reinvented, your favourite songs are performed in ways never imagined. Kick-start the party with a lively, welcoming atmosphere for you and your guests – let The Kooky Ukes fire up the day with their original take on the best songs you know! A typical performance comprises songs from diverse artists such as LMFAO, Arcade Fire, David Guetta, Queen, Katy Perry, The Beatles, AC/DC, Abba, Nirvana, Outkast, Bruno Mars, Coldplay, Black Eyed Peas, Metallica, Kayne West and Lady Gaga. 'The end is listless', as they say. The Kooky Ukes also do all of the recent, ukulele-based hits such as 'Hey Soul Sister' by Train, 'I'm Yours' by Jason Mraz and 'Somewhere Over The Rainbow' by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole. If it's got a uke on it, we got it.
