Oh Boland

Oh Boland is the scum pop song writing of Tuam native Niall Murphy. An assortment of agrarian tragedies sewn to bored pop melodies, Flying Nun jangle, corrugated guitar squalls and 70’s power pop veering like the all-time classic hits Irish rock n roll waster. Starting in 2012, the original line-up released two EPs and a split LP through Dublin Indie collective Popical Island before the 2016 release of their debut album Spilt Milk on Volar Records (San Diego, CA, USA) which was included in Pitchfork's Top 20 Garage Punk albums of 2016.
