Gender Chores is a Northern Irish Punk Rock band from Bangor, formed by Samantha McCann, Sophie Price, and AJ Mawhinney in June 2018. Gender Chores is heavily influenced by the riot grrrl manifesto, with our sociopolitical lyrics, dealing with feminism and tackling important issues. We have released three demo tracks for streaming, and our first release, Territory, was featured at Women’s Work Festival and Across the Line. They were extremely proud to have been listed in Rigsy’s “Beautiful North” column as one of the top '19 to watch in 2019’ in the Daily Mirror.
