Alta Cura

The band was first founded in the summer of 2015. Adopting a traditional blues/funk rock-based sound, the group immediately hit onto the Irish festival scene with a debut festival slot at Electric Picnic 2015 gig and was followed up by a slot at Body and soul 2016 a year later. In between the band released an EP, and hosted an album Launch in The Academy in Dublin. Followed by a number of Dublin City-based gigs in venues such as Whelan's, The Grand Social, Fibbers, Gypsy Rose and The Bowery. There have also been many memorable performances in the band's local venue, ' The Harbour Bar’.
