A COW IN THE WATER - Formed in Blarney, Co Cork, Ireland in 1986. The Cows were part of the Post-punk movement in Cork, Ireland, heavily influenced by punks irreverence but with a sense of humor. Currently based in Cork, Ireland, A Cow in the Water are an avant-garde rock band who combine punk, pop and country into music that is distinctive and yet familiar. They have never followed convention and create music that provokes. Renowned for their over-the-top stage shows and quirky sound, they combined hard driven guitar rock with brass overtones to produce a genuinely original sound.
